The feature event on the Mornington Racing Calendar will be staged with the running of the $205,000 Carlton Draught Mornington Cup over 2,000 metres. The Mornington Cup has retained its position as the richest race conducted in country Victoria, which will ensure a strong field is assembled. Combined with the $103,000 The Mornington BMW Hareeba Stakes over 1,200 metres, plus 8 strong supporting races, Mornington Cup Day is an event not to be missed.
